WE'RE FROM TEXAS
At AL-CO Metal Roofing, metal is all we do. In the beginning AL-CO stood for Aluminum Company, as we were one of the first residential roofing companies in Texas to work with aluminum and steel products exclusively.
Established in 1972 in Houston by WWII veteran Ben Adams, we moved operations to Corpus Christi in 1992 and opened an office in San Antonio shortly thereafter. We service Corpus Christi, San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, Victoria, San Marcos, Kerrville, and the Hill Country.

Scott Sorrells, Owner and President of AL-CO Metal Roofing, has deep Texas Roots. From his youth in Calallen to his time at Texas A & M, he has always been serving the local community. With extensive work on projects in the coastal bend that meet higher engineering standards, you can rely on Scott to be there when you need him.

Chuck Roberts, General Manager of AL-CO Metal Roofing, has 23 years of experience in the metal roofing industry. Holding almost every job in the business, from delivery driver to metal fabricator, purchasing and all points in between. Chuck brings a passion and extreme level of technical knowledge to each roofing project he supervises.

After a huge hail storm we realized our 2 -year old aluminum shake metal roof was damaged. The previous installer company that had put the roof on was shabby and had been arrested for fraud so I called the manufacturer and they recommended AL-CO. Boy was that a GREAT recommendation. It was shocking how poorly the previous company had done and AL-CO did it right, straight and with amazing workmanship. We have a very complicated roof system with 3 types of roofing that needed tie-in. (Shake Shingle, Standing Seam and TPO) Chuck was attentive, professional, on time always and had a craftsman team of installers who were perfectionists. Would recommend them to anyone.

AL-CO replaced our roof in Port Aransas, TX after Hurricane Harvey. Chuck Roberts met the TWIA Inspector and accompanied him onto the roof pointing out damages and problems incurred from the Category 4 Hurricane. The Inspector agreed that we needed a new roof. Chuck oversaw the new roof install and the follow up. Because of Chuck’s knowledge and involvement, it was covered completely by insurance. We are most grateful for the professional service from Chuck and AL-CO. We highly recommend them.

I had my roof put on in the fall of 2016 and absolutely love it. It has made my house look so polished. With the new roof and it has made the house more energy efficient. The team that put on the roof was very professional and very clean. I have dogs and they made sure that the gate was always closed and nobody got out or hurt. They cleaned up after themselves and left no nails or trash around. I highly recommend getting a metal roof and using this company.
